Top Five 2006 Cellular Phone Models

With the advent of the mobile phone industry, mobile phone companies have long been battling for the latest and greatest model that will captivate the market and make the buyers go "gaga" over it. As a result, there are countless cellular phone models from Motorola, Samsung, Nokia, and other companies.

The cell phone market is different around the world. A company may dominate the USA but not Asia. The same is true of the network service providers. A recent survey uncovered the Top Ten US Models, and this article is about the top five of those survey results.

According to Wirefly and Amazon.com, sales indicate that the US mobile phone market is dominated by Motorola, with almost no noticeable trace of Nokia.

First on the list was the Motorola RAZR V3. What makes it a hit? To date, it's the thinnest device on the market. The third spot to the throne is the Samsung PM-A740. This clamshell camera phone has a Stub/extendable antenna. It weighs 98 grams with the dimensions of 89x 46x25 millimeters. It has 1.5 MB memory, GPS and can be used for different languages. Its self-timer and web browser are remarkable features, as are its ever-entertaining games and headset jack.

Motorola V330 takes number four. It weighs 120 grams as a clamshell mobile phone with a stub antenna. Its dimensions are 89x49x25 millimeter. It has 1000 phonebook capacity with Bluetooth, PC Sync and USB. Amazing features such as the Foto Fun photo editor, Motomixer ring tone composer, and MP3 are sure to draw the attention of mobile phone buyers. It also has a web browser.

Doing well at number five is the Audiovox 8910. As the other top mobile phones, it's also clamshell in shape with dimensions of 89x48x22 mm. It's light at 91 grams and has a stub extendable antenna. Moreover, it has 4-way keypad navigation and a 32 MB memory. It also comes in nice colors that make it trendy. Its speakerphone, wallpapers and screensavers that are sure to get you hooked.
